DENEN GABRIEL WASE
Agriculturist
Denen Gabriel Wase is a Fisheries Specialist. He holds a bachelors’ degree in Fisheries & Aquaculture from the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (now Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University Makurdi) and a Masters’ degree (Fisheries) from Amhadu Bello University, Zaria. He is a seasoned agriculturist, actively engaged in research, teaching, extension and consultancy with more than ten years of field experience. He taught at Enugu State Polytechnic Iwollo, and worked with high profile farms including Oracle Farms Makurdi and Helin-1 Farms Abuja where he trained wide range of university students in practical fish farming. He is proficient in use of Microsoft applications, have been part of successful researches in agriculture with international journal publication to his credit. He has participated in high-impact trainings including Youth in Agribusiness, use of Mendeley, quality delivery of Agricultural Extension services, understanding, preventing and responding to gender based violence among others. Denen Gabriel Wase is currently a lecturer with Akperan Orshi Polytechnic Yandev Benue state and chief executive officer, Famous Green Nurtures Wanunne where his wealth of experience has contributed to sustaining high standards, steadfast growth and increased output with utmost client satisfaction.
