About the CEO
Orkuma Benjamin Beem is the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, and Founder of Greener Energy Farms and More Ltd (GEFMORE LTD)
He has a very strong educational background and a passion for imparting knowledge to the youth. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Physics (NIP), a TRCN/Cambridge certified Physics educator, a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) holder, and an ardent SDGs enthusiast.
He has over 9 years of experience in teaching Physics and also a track record of excellent results in IGCSE, Checkpoint, WAEC, GCE, NECO, UTME, and JUPEB Examinations.
As an advocate for Sustainable Development Goals, his teaching activities align with ensuring Quality Education ( SDG 4), Zero Hunger ( SDG 1), and Affordable and Clean Energy ( SDG 7).
In pursuit of this vision and mission, he started a YouTube Channel (PhysicsWithBen) with the aim of achieving SDG4 and promoting STEAM Education by simplifying the concepts in the field of Physics. To promote Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM), he publishes experimental/project-based learning content.
His teaching philosophy centers around the adaption of teaching methodologies and styles that work for all classes of learners and also the incorporation of STEAM and SDGs activities that help learners gain 21st-century soft skills. He believes that every knowledge gained should be applied to solve real-life problems. To achieve this, he explores and develops soft skills in students through project-based work, where the students develop a strong interest and love for physics and also become problem solvers in this challenging world.
His passion for sustainable quality education, affordable and clean energy, agriculture, skills acquisition, and reduction in the high cost of living at the global level has led to the successful establishment of this company, Greener Energy Farms & More Ltd.
